VIP Lorne Pier to Pub Luncheon Makes a Splash

Over 200 guests gathered at the Lorne Surf Lifesaving Club for a VIP luncheon celebrating one of Australia’s most iconic open water events — the Pier to Pub.

Guests enjoyed an exclusive Olympian panel ahead of the race, with insights from swimming legends Lani Pallister, Nick Sloman, Sam Short, and Sam Sheppard. Hosted by the always-engaging Michael Roberts and Duncan McKenzie-McHarg, the session gave guests a behind-the-scenes look at the swim from the superfish themselves.

Post-lunch, the athletes went on to dominate the race, clocking record times and proving exactly why they’re at the top of their game.
